PE
Polyethylene (PE) is an organic, thermoplastic resin with a structure similar to wood and vegetable fibers. PE is the most inexpensive labeling material and is often used in professional label production.
A polyethylene label is easily recyclable with a container made from polyethylene. Polyethylene face stocks offer good resistance to water and chemicals. PE  is also somewhat UV resistant, up to but not exceeding 10-12 months outdoor life. PE also offers good dimensional stability, but it can be stretched (especially LDPE). It is tear resistant and environmentally friendly. PE is strong, durable, moisture resistant, solvent & chemical resistant, and provides good insulating properties.
Polyethylene labels adhere well to a wide range of different surfaces (both low and high energy), they are also well suited for application to curved surfaces.
